IAF aircraft crash in Assam's Jorhat air base claims 5 lives
New Delhi, June 13 -- An Indian Air Force AN-32 transport aircraft met with an accident and caught fire while attempting to land at the Air Force Station in Jorhat, Assam.
The accident reportedly took place when the aircraft was attempting to land at the Jorhat airfield. Emergency response teams have been deployed at the site, and rescue operations are currently underway.
Firefighting operations are also underway at the accident site in Jorhat. The aircraft was utilized for transporting supplies. An investigation is underway, and further official updates are awaited.
