New Delhi, Jan. 22 -- India is set to experience a renewed phase of active winter weather from January 22 as a western disturbance intensifies over the western Himalayan region and adjoining plains.

After brief relief from cold wave conditions, residents of Delhi and the National Capital Region are likely to face colder weather again. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast gusty winds and light rain, which are expected to cause a dip in temperatures today.
