New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is set to address the annual high-level session of the United Nations General Assembly on 26th of this month.

Jaishankar will deliver India's national statement during the afternoon session of the General Debate, which will be held from 22th to 28th of this month.

The high-level session is taking place against the backdrop of continuing geopolitical conflicts and growing economic pressures, including rising food and fuel prices linked to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
