New Delhi, April 15 -- India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar participated in the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) Plus meeting convened by Japan to address supply chain disruptions in global energy markets.

He underlined India's commitment to safe and unimpeded transit for maritime shipping, stating that attacks on merchant vessels are completely unacceptable.

S. Jaishankar added that as a major energy consumer, India will work with like-minded partners to strengthen global supply chain resilience and ensure energy security.
