New Delhi, April 1 -- United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth warned that Iran must strike a deal or face intensified military action.

"If Iran is wise, they will cut a deal," Hegseth said, adding that President Donald Trump "does not bluff and does not back down - you can ask Khamenei about that."

He emphasized that the US is willing to make an agreement and that the terms have already been communicated to Tehran.

"If Iran is not willing, then the United States War Department will continue with even greater intensity," Hegseth said.
