New Delhi, July 11 -- India and New Zealand have signed five key agreements aimed at expanding cooperation across strategic and development sectors.

The two countries exchanged Memorandums of Understanding and cooperation agreements in maritime security, tourism, animal husbandry and dairying, disaster management, and sports.

The two sides also signed a Joint Action Plan on Sports to strengthen collaboration in high-performance sports, sports science, sports medicine and athlete development.

A Memorandum of Arrangement in the field of Tourism was exchanged to boost tourism cooperation, increase tourist arrivals and promote greater cultural understanding between the two nations.
