New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- Radhakrishnan, who is also the president of ICWA, emphasised that human progress and world peace must go hand in hand. He said this would be possible only when countries recognised one another's concerns and worked together for mutual benefit.

The Vice-President outlined four priorities for ICWA. He called on the council to strengthen research on India's Neighbourhood First, Act East, Global South and Indo-Pacific priorities.

He also asked ICWA to expand its work on cybersecurity, space, critical technologies and global supply chains, deepen engagement with universities and young scholars, and become a reliable repository of knowledge on world affairs from an authentic Indian perspective.
