New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Following the meeting, Rubio stated in a post on X that the discussions focused on energy security and defence cooperation while reaffirming the importance of advancing the US-India strategic partnership.

External Affairs Minister Jaishankar also described the meeting as productive, stating that both sides exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral relations across trade, energy, technology, defence and people-to-people exchanges. The two leaders also discussed regional developments.
