New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- Organised by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment under the NAMASTE scheme, the camp highlighted the commitment to ending hazardous manual scavenging and ensuring safe workplaces, social security and a dignified life for sanitation workers.

Safai Mitras were honoured and provided with PPE kits and Ayushman cards. The camp also offered health check-ups and benefits of central and Delhi government welfare schemes to Safai Mitras, Swachhagrahis and their families. An audio-visual exhibition showcased the protective equipment provided to sanitation workers.
