New Delhi, July 6 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inspected the ongoing development and beautification works at the Munak Canal, directing officials to expedite the project while maintaining high construction standards.

Gupta said the work, which began in January, is targeted for completion before Chhath Puja, with the aim of transforming the Munak Canal into a clean, organised and improved public space.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed officials to regularly monitor the progress, ensure strict quality control and obtain continuous feedback from local residents so that necessary improvements can be implemented without delay.
