New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the Tehkhand Automated Testing Station, which will have the capacity to conduct fitness tests of around 72,000 vehicles annually.

Gupta said the foundation stone of the Automated Testing Station was laid in November and the project had been completed within a few months. She congratulated the Transport Department and officials and employees associated with the project for its timely completion.

The Chief Minister also dedicated 50 new electric buses to Delhi and launched the Delhi-Rewari interstate electric bus service.

Two new public electric vehicle charging stations at Hasanpur and Ghazipur depots were also inaugurated.
