New Delhi, May 12 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta flagged off a rescue ambulance and van of the "Apna Ghar Ashram" from the Chief Minister Jan Seva Sadan for the assistance of homeless and needy people across the national capital.

Gupta said the vehicles would help transport destitute and vulnerable individuals safely to shelter homes across Delhi, where arrangements for their treatment, care and rehabilitation would be provided.

"Today, we have dispatched the ambulance and van of "Apna Ashram" from here, which will carry out rescue operations across the entire city.
