New Delhi, May 20 -- Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh held a bilateral meeting with Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Phan Van Giang in Hanoi on May 19, where the two sides reviewed the growing defence partnership and discussed ways to deepen cooperation in maritime security, defence industry, military training and regional stability.

The two ministers exchanged views on regional and global security developments and underlined the importance of maintaining peace, stability, security, safety and freedom of navigation in the Indo-Pacific region.
