Quad Foreign Ministers' issue Joint Statement
New Delhi, May 27 -- The Foreign Ministers of Australia, India and Japan along with the Secretary of State of the United States met in New Delhi on May 26 for the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting hosted by India, where the four nations reaffirmed their commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific, international law, maritime security, economic resilience and coordinated action against terrorism.
The meeting was attended by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
