New Delhi, March 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held separate telephonic conversations with the leaders of Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, expressing deep concern over the evolving security situation in West Asia and reaffirming India's support for peace and stability in the region.
Prime Minister Modi spoke with His Majesty Abdullah II of Jordan and conveyed India's deep concern regarding the ongoing developments in the region. He reaffirmed India's support for the peace, security and well-being of the people of Jordan. The Prime Minister also thanked the King for ensuring the safety and welfare of the Indian community residing in Jordan during this challenging period.
