New Delhi, June 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed beneficiaries, industry representatives and stakeholders associated with the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) and disbursed incentives worth around Rs.2,400 crore under the employment-linked incentive scheme. The programme marked a major milestone in the implementation of PM-VBRY, which aims to promote employment generation, support first-time workers and expand social security coverage across sectors. The initiative has supported the creation of nearly 15 lakh employment opportunities across the country.
