PM Modi, Mauritius PM review strategic partnership; reiterates India's commitment to Seychelles in National Assembly address
New Delhi, June 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam in Victoria, Mahe, on the sidelines of Seychelles' Golden Jubilee National Day celebrations. The meeting was their fourth since Ramgoolam assumed office in November 2024.
The two leaders reviewed ongoing India-Mauritius cooperation and the implementation of the Special Economic Package extended by India. Modi reaffirmed India's commitment to Mauritius' development, highlighting bilateral projects in healthcare, connectivity, sustainable development and the blue economy.
