New Delhi, April 14 -- Union Minister of Commerce Piyush Goyal held a telephonic conversation with Anwar bin Hilal bin Hamdoun Al Jabri, Oman's Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, to discuss strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
During the interaction, both sides explored ways to unlock opportunities under the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to enhance bilateral trade and investment ties for mutual growth.
The discussion follows the signing of the landmark India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in Muscat in December 2025, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.
