Piyush Goyal Calls for Deeper, Resilient and More Balanced Intra-BRICS Trade
New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Goyal said greater market access would help strengthen supply chains and enable easier movement of talent among BRICS countries.
He said BRICS currently accounts for around 40 per cent of global GDP and one-fourth of global trade, underlining the grouping's growing importance in the global economy.
Goyal highlighted India's strengths in sectors including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, services, startups and Digital Public Infrastructure.
He said these capabilities provide significant opportunities for joint innovation, technology partnerships and the creation of more resilient markets among BRICS countries.
