More than 51.8 Lakh domestic LPG cylinders were delivered on April 25: Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas
New Delhi, April 27 -- More than 51.8 lakh domestic LPG cylinders were delivered across the country on April 25, with no dry-outs reported at distributorships, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said. The Ministry added that around 98% of LPG bookings were made through online platforms, while nearly 94% of deliveries were authenticated using Delivery Authentication Codes to prevent diversion.
To curb hoarding and black marketing, over 2,100 raids were conducted nationwide, leading to penalties on 310 LPG distributorships and suspension of 70.
