New Delhi, March 23 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has urged residents to take advantage of its Property Tax Settlement Scheme (SUNIYO) 2025-26, with the deadline set for March 31, 2026.

Under the scheme, taxpayers can clear pending dues with significant relief. The civic body announced that full waiver of interest and penalties will be granted on property tax dues pending before 2020-21, provided that the principal tax for the current year (2025-26) and the previous five years is paid.

Additionally, residents can settle their dues by paying only a 5% late fee, with the process designed to be simple and transparent.
