New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- According to an office order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Outer North Zone, on October 26, Gupta has been placed under suspension with immediate effect as disciplinary proceedings against him are contemplated. During the suspension period, he will receive subsistence allowance as per rules and will not be permitted to leave the station without prior permission. His headquarters during the suspension will be the Office of the Superintending Engineer, Outer North Zone.
