New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- During the meeting, councillors from both the ruling and opposition benches raised problems concerning their respective areas. The discussions focused on sanitation, availability and deployment of sanitation workers, illegal play schools, road encroachments, stray animals, maintenance of parks, civic amenities, public safety and parking facilities.

Sharma directed MCD Deputy Commissioners to address issues at the zonal level on priority and ensure timely action along with regular progress updates.
