New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- In the South Zone, the Deputy Commissioner inspected dhalaos and Garbage Vulnerable Points in Munirka and Green Park to assess sanitation and waste-management arrangements.

The Urban Development Secretary-cum-Nodal Officer for the South Zone also chaired a meeting with officials from various agencies to review measures against air pollution and strengthen coordination.

In the East Zone, the Deputy Commissioner and senior officials inspected air-quality monitoring stations at Mother Dairy and Khelgaon. They reviewed issues concerning the MCD and other agencies and discussed action points for coordinated intervention and timely follow-up.
