New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- According to a post by the MCD on X, the corporation has set a target of regularising approximately 7,630 sanitation workers over the next three months.

The Mayor highlighted the initiative as an important measure towards providing employment stability and recognition to sanitation workers. The MCD stated that the regularisation process reflected its commitment to acknowledging the contributions of sanitation workers and securing their future.

Deputy Mayor Monika Pant, Standing Committee Chairperson Satya Sharma, Leader of the House Bhagwan Singh Yadav and Environment Management Services Committee Chairperson Sandeep Kapoor were also present on the occasion.
