New Delhi, March 25 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) intensified its efforts towards a cleaner environment by organising a mega walkathon in Vasant Vihar under its ongoing "Dust-Free Delhi" mission. The initiative was led by Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar and witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 500 citizens, along with Area Councillor Himani Jain and senior officials including the Deputy Commissioner of the South Zone.

The 3-kilometre walkathon, held from DDA Park to MCD Nursery, served as both a public outreach and awareness campaign. Participants were sensitised on key issues such as dust mitigation, waste segregation, and the adoption of sustainable practices in daily life.
