New Delhi, July 9 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has ordered the merger of 13 schools across the Karol Bagh, Narela and Shahdara North zones. According to an official order, the mergers will take effect from the current academic session.

The directive, issued by the MCD Education Department on June 22, states that administrative approval has been granted for the identified school mergers. Zonal Deputy Directors of Education (DDEs) and Assistant Directors of Education (ADEs) have been instructed to complete the merger process and submit compliance reports by July 15.
