New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi observed Swachh Vayu Diwas 2026 at MCD Primary School in Subhash Nagar, with a focus on controlling dust at construction and demolition sites and preventing biomass burning.

The programme was organised by the MCD West Zone in collaboration with the Delhi Pollution Control Committee and the Department of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi.

Ward Committee Chairman Harish Oberoi attended the programme along with Sanjay Vats, Senior Environmental Engineer, Delhi Pollution Control Committee; Sanjar Ali of WRI India; and Ranjana Sharma, Senior Scientific Officer, Department of Environment.
