New Delhi, May 22 -- Delhi Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said a review meeting was held at the Delhi Secretariat with senior Industries and DSIIDC officials regarding development works in the Bawana area.

According to the minister, the government is planning commercial area development, community centres and improved warehouse facilities in Bawana. He also said facilities including women's hostels, creches and play schools for children of working women are proposed in the area.

Sirsa said the Delhi government under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is working to ensure that development benefits reach common people and improve living conditions in the region.
