New Delhi, June 17 -- New Delhi, June 17: Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu chaired a high-level meeting to review the implementation of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act across Delhi. The meeting was attended by the Delhi Police Commissioner, Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department, Director of Education and other senior officials.

During the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor directed a comprehensive audit of schools across the national capital to assess compliance with the provisions and guidelines of the POCSO Act. He instructed the Education Department to ensure strict adherence to child protection norms and take firm action against institutions found deficient in implementation.
