New Delhi, May 9 -- Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) 2026 in New York, focusing on migration cooperation, skilled workforce mobility and international migration pathways.

During his meeting with Canadian Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab, discussions centred on the Canada-India Migration Initiative and areas of mutual interest related to the mobility of skilled workers and students between the two countries.
