New Delhi, March 12 -- Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva criticised Arvind Kejriwal for his remarks on the alleged cooking gas shortage, accusing him of indulging in political opportunism during a challenging situation.

Sachdeva said that, like many countries around the world, India is prioritising LPG usage to ensure that essential services do not face shortages. He expressed strong objection to the press conference called by Kejriwal and condemned what he described as personal comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Delhi BJP chief further alleged that there is a competition among opposition leaders such as Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi to criticise the Prime Minister.
