New Delhi, March 20 -- Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has strongly criticised the handling of the recent Palam fire tragedy, calling it "deeply tragic" and alleging serious lapses in emergency response. He claimed that the fire brigade failed to reach on time and that its hydraulic lift was non-functional, suggesting that several lives could have been saved with timely action.

Holding the government responsible for negligence, he demanded a fair and impartial inquiry into the tragedy, while expressing condolences to the grieving family and calling for accountability in both the rescue response and subsequent events.
