New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- A third flight carrying assistance from India has reached Kathmandu, with relief supplies and an 11-member medical and tunnel rescue team now on the ground following the floods in Nepal.

According to an update on Indian nationals impacted by the floods, 84 Indians have been rescued, including 21 from Tamil Nadu who returned to India and 63 working at the Trishuli-I project.

Another 149 Indian nationals crossed safely into Nepal from China, while around 400 Indians are safe in China. The Indian Embassy is in touch with them and is working on their evacuation.

The update said 320 Indian nationals remain missing or are not contactable.
