India's Vivek Aggarwal Elected Vice President of Financial Action Task Force
New Delhi, June 20 -- Vivek Aggarwal, Secretary to the Government of India, has been elected Vice President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), marking a significant development for India's engagement with the global anti-money laundering and counter-terror financing body.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the appointment comes as India continues to advocate a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and efforts to combat terrorist financing and illicit financial networks worldwide.
