New Delhi, Sept. 26 -- Speaking at the meeting on "The Global South and the Future of Multilateralism" during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Misri said the G77 remained relevant to advancing a people-centred, development-oriented approach to international cooperation.

He called for collective efforts to enable countries of the Global South to move from accepting rules shaped by others to helping shape those rules themselves.
