New Delhi, March 13 -- India is closely monitoring the evolving situation in West Asia and its potential impact on energy supplies and shipping routes, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said, while confirming high-level diplomatic engagement with regional partners.
Addressing the weekly media briefing, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar had held multiple conversations with his Iranian counterpart in recent days regarding maritime safety and India's energy security.
