New Delhi, April 8 -- India has sent a consignment of 250 metric tonnes of foodgrains to Seychelles as part of its ongoing economic assistance. The shipment marks another step under the USD 175 million Special Economic Package committed by India to support the island nation.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the assistance reflects India's continued commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and supporting partner countries in meeting essential needs. Officials indicated that further consignments are expected to follow under the same package.
