New Delhi, May 23 -- India and Cyprus announced 14 major outcomes during the State Visit of Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides to India, covering strategic partnership, defence, counter-terrorism, cyber security, trade, education, culture, innovation and maritime cooperation.

The two countries elevated bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership, aimed at strengthening cooperation in security, resilience, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges. India and Cyprus also signed an MoU to establish a Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism for advancing cooperation against terrorism and implementing counter-terror strategies.
