New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- Malhotra said the deceased sanitation worker, identified as Deepak, belonged to the Valmiki community and was posted in the Trilokpuri ward. He claimed that Deepak had faced financial exploitation and mental harassment and alleged that the circumstances surrounding his death had exposed the "conduct and character" of the AAP.

According to Malhotra, Deepak's wife has lodged a First Information Report against the councillor. He further alleged that information had emerged about the exploitation and harassment of several other sanitation workers in the ward. The allegations have not been independently verified, and details of the FIR and the police investigation were not immediately available.
