Four-storey building collapses in Satya Niketan
New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- Dozens of students were feared trapped under the rubble after a four-storey building collapsed in south Delhi's Satya Niketan area on Sunday.
At least three people have been rescued so far and admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre in critical condition, according to an AIIMS Delhi spokesperson.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said teams from the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, National Disaster Response Force, Delhi Fire Services, Delhi Police, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Centralised Accident and Trauma Services and Civil Defence are carrying out rescue operations on a war footing.
The adjoining building has been vacated as a precautionary measure.
