New Delhi, April 25 -- The foundation stone for the construction of theIlamHospital Emergency Block inIlamMunicipality-07,Ilamdistrict,KoshiProvince of Nepal, was jointly laid byGitanjali BrandonandKedarThapa.

The project is being constructed with financialassistancefrom the Government of India, amounting toapproximately NepaliRupees 94 million. The High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) will be implemented throughIlamMunicipality.

The Mayor ofIlamMunicipality and other stakeholders appreciated the developmental support extended by the Government of India and expressed confidence that the new emergency block will enhance access to healthcare services for residents of the region.
