New Delhi, June 23 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held extensive engagements in Ulaanbaatar, meeting Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh and the Chief Abbot of Gandan Monastery, as India and Mongolia reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their Strategic Partnership across multiple sectors.

During his meeting with Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh, Jaishankar reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation in development projects, capacity building, culture, education, security and multilateral forums. The two leaders also explored opportunities to expand collaboration in mining, clean energy and agro-processing sectors.
