New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held a telephonic conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha to discuss the Ukraine conflict, Black Sea security and the broader global impact of ongoing conflicts.

Jaishankar said the two leaders discussed attacks on commercial shipping and Indian seafarers in the Black Sea, stressing that such attacks by any party are "absolutely unacceptable" and were unequivocally condemned by India. He was also briefed on recent developments in the Ukraine conflict and peace negotiations, reiterating that India has consistently advocated dialogue and diplomacy between the parties concerned.
