New Delhi, May 8 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar underlined India's commitment to strengthening its partnership with Suriname during a series of high-level engagements in Paramaribo, focusing on development cooperation, parliamentary exchanges, diaspora heritage, and economic collaboration.

Addressing a programme on the theme "Partnership for Progress" in Paramaribo, Jaishankar thanked Suriname Foreign Minister Melvin Bouva and the Surinamese Foreign Ministry for organising the event. He said that despite global uncertainties and challenges, progress can best be achieved through strong international partnerships.
