New Delhi, March 19 -- The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has ordered the closure of 93 units operating without permission in the Hyderpur Redevelopment Area as part of its ongoing enforcement drive against pollution in the national capital.
According to officials, the action was taken after inspections revealed that these units were functioning without mandatory environmental clearances, contributing to pollution in the area. The DPCC stated that strict enforcement measures are being undertaken to ensure compliance with environmental norms and to curb unauthorised industrial activities.
