New Delhi, July 3 -- The University of Delhi has issued its academic calendar for the 2026-27 academic session, outlining the schedule for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The calendar, released through an official notification by the Registrar on 2 July 2026, provides the timeline for both odd and even semesters across the academic year.

As per the schedule, classes for the odd semesters (I, III, V and VII) will commence on 28 July 2026, slightly earlier than the previous academic session, when classes began on 1 August 2025. An autumn break has been scheduled from 18 to 25 October 2026, with teaching set to resume on 26 October.
