New Delhi, June 15 -- Delhi Police will organise a weekly "Thana Divas-Jan Sunwai" at every police station in the capital to strengthen public outreach, improve grievance redressal mechanisms and promote citizen-centric policing. The initiative has been launched in accordance with directions issued by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

According to guidelines issued by Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha, the public hearing programme will be conducted every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all police stations across Delhi, beginning next week.
