New Delhi, April 6 -- Delhi Police's Crime Branch cyber cell team has arrested six members of a gang involved in manufacturing and supplying fake medicines.

Acting on intelligence inputs, the police team apprehended one member from the Shahdara area on March 11, 2026.

Following interrogation, another member was arrested from Roorkee city in Uttarakhand. Based on further questioning, the police conducted a raid at a fake medicine factory located in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh and arrested the remaining four accused.

More than 2,000 kg of raw material used for making fake medicines, machines for manufacturing and packaging medicines, and a large quantity of fake medicines and injections were recovered.
