Delhi Metro increases metro trips amidst DTC bus strikes
New Delhi, Sept. 17 -- To accommodate additional passengers and reduce pressure on the Metro network, DMRC increased the number of train trips by 20. It also operated eight additional trains on September 16 according to passenger demand and operational requirements.
The measures were aimed at managing the higher number of commuters using Metro services, particularly during peak hours, and ensuring smoother travel across the network.
DMRC continued the enhanced arrangements on September 17. Eight additional trains were inducted and operated between 8 am and 8 pm according to operational requirements.
